Venture Up began in 1983 offering creative experiences in the U.S. and abroad inspiring people of all abilities to reach their personal best.

One success lead to another. International publicity drew widespread attention to Venture Up in the mid-1980s when we initiated innovative team building programs to improve team performance.

Today we are the world's largest provider of interactive team programs. We travel worldwide serving organizations of all types and sizes.
Our programs are designed to be fun and internalize learning objectives for people of all professional levels.

World Class Leadership

Internationally known Venture Up was conceived in 1983 in Chamonix, France, the alpinism capital of the world, and gateway to where the French, Swiss and Italian alps meet. Venture Up founders opened up winter climbing in the area in 1982, when winter climbing in the Mont Blanc region was virtually unknown. Continuing to make their mark, Venture Up founders accepted invitations to speak at adventure conferences worldwide; they have also consulted with the governments of Nepal, India, China, Poland, Romania, Russia, Mexico and Chile on adventure sports and tourism.

Today, Venture Up has more than 250,000 participants to its credit -- more than any private firm in the U.S.

Guides and instructors are veterans of world class routes, are well educated, and seasoned teachers in all levels of rock climbing, from novice instruction to guiding.
